Overview

49th Northwestern Vascular Symposium is a three day conference focusing on current topics of interest to physicians, surgeons, nurses, those who treat forms of vascular disease and issues in vascular medicine.


Objectives
  1. Discuss breakthrough technology treatments of lower extremity arterial disease
  2. Review the clinical limitations of EVAR
  3. Review of current optimal medical treatment options for vascular diseases
  4. Implement the latest development in treatment of TAA disease
  5. Relay information about latest development in treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm disease
  6. List current treatment recommendations for extra-cranial carotid and supra-
  7. Apply the growing application of TEVAR for thoracic aortic pathology
  8. Recall information on the latest in treatment of upper extremity vascular disease
  9. Describe expected outcomes of lower extremity revascularization for arterial occlusive disease following open surgical and endovascular techniques
  10. Describe the role and importance of vascular surgery medicine in comprehensive clinical care
  11. Review contemporary best practices for quality vascular care
