The mission of the Office of Continuing Medical Education at the Feinberg School of Medicine is to provide exceptional quality education that leads to measurable improvement in the knowledge, competence, and performance of health care providers.  We strive to objectively present timely evidence-based information in an engaging, diverse, and equitable learning environment that promotes the highest quality of care and leads to improved patient outcomes.

We facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational activities to ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education requirements for continuing medical education (CME).  For all our programs, we provide comprehensive content that addresses core competencies of the healthcare team.

The expected result of participating in an FSM CME activity is enhanced self-reported knowledge and competence as measured by post-activity evaluation.  We strive for improvement in learner performance and patient outcomes resulting from of our educational activities and encourage strategies for measuring these outcomes.
