Northwestern Medicine's Spring 2024 Hot Topics in Medicine

This activity enhances participants' knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors, with a focus on identified Hot Topics in Medicine. This activity will provide a comprehensive review of some important advances in internal medicine and its subspecialties.

The target audience for this activity includes Physicians of multiple specialties, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Residents, APPs, Nursing, Medical Assistants.

1. Examine the importance and efficacy of current Vaccines for Adults & Children.
2. Discuss key tools for Coping with Stressful Patient Encounters.
3. Examine the application of Artificial Intelligence in medical practice.
4. Evaluate the safe and effective prescribing of Opioids.
5. Apply up-to-date standards for the treatment of Diabetes.
6. Identify the progression of metabolic syndrome to Steatotic Liver Disease.

There is no fee to register for this conference.
