NLFH The Unstable Pediatric Patient

Simulation of how to respond to various topics affecting pediatric patients, including cardiogenic shock, septic shock, anaphylactic, and hemorrhagic shock.

1. Analyze clinical data to distinguish between the distinct pathophysiologic mechanisms that cause shock
2. Compare and contrast the therapeutic steps in management of pediatric patients presenting with undifferentiated shock or other acute conditions
3. Apply focused therapeutic interventions for the distinct categories of shock and acute care needs
4. Demonstrate improved communication and collaboration among the healthcare team when responding to emergency situration with the unstable pediatric patient
