Vascular Surgery Symposium

Objectives
  1. Discuss new information about treatment of lower extremity venous disease
  2. Evaluate limitations of EVAR
  3. Demonstrate treatment options for visceral and renal artery aneurysmal and occlusive disease
  4. Evaluate new developments in management of complex venous disease
  5. Relay information about the latest developments in treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm disease
  6. List current treatment recommendation for extra-cranial carotid and supra-aortic trunk arterial occlusive disease
  7. Discuss the growing application of TEVAR for thoracic aortic pathology
  8. Recall information on the latest in treatment of upper extremity vascular disease
  9. Describe expected outcomes of lower extremity revascularization for arterial occlusive disease following open surgical and endovascular techniques
  10. Discuss new trends in dialysis access surgery
  11. Describe the role and importance of vascular surgery at hospitals
  12. Evaluate the best practices for percutaneous arterial access
