Overview
This educational initiative was developed to provide a forum for discussing and presenting laboratory and clinical research concerning the care of patients with breast cancer. This 4 day symposium has been designed to provide a forum for presenting and discussing the clinical research including the medical therapies, surgical options, and lifestyle changes and modifications concerning the care of patients with breast cancer.

Objectives
  1. Discuss the opportunities for risk reduction in women at increased risk for breast cancer
  2. Describe the role of histology and molecular profiling in determining breast cancer prognosis,
  3. Identify prognostic factors and treatment options in DCIS,
  4. Define current local and systemic approaches to the patient receiving neoadjuvant therapy,
  5. Cite new chemotherapy and immunotherapy approaches to triple negative breast cancer,
  6. Review the risks and benefits of de-escalating surgery, radiotherapy and systemic therapy for breast cancer management
