Overview
3 day in-person conference to provide didactic teaching and hands-on experience with cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging acquisitions, post-processing, and interpretation.

Objectives
  1. Review the indications of, contraindications to, and potential side effects of CMR.
  2. Demonstrate practical knowledge in technical aspects of the CMR examination during small group post-processing sessions.
  3. Describe the basic principles of MR angiography and its applications.
  4. Recognize and minimize important image artifacts.
  5. Utilize images post-processing techniques in clinical practice.
  6. Correlate CMR with other imaging modalities (echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, CT, and interventional angiography) as well as with medical history, physical examination, laboratory, and hemodynamic data.
