Overview

Objectives
  1. Analyze cannabis and its known pharmacologic profile.
  2. Appraise potential drug interactions and other patient safety issues that may occur with the use of cannabis.
  3. Assess the role of cannabis in the treatment of chronic disease.
  4. Evaluate clinical studies related to health effects of cannabis and potential use in the treatment of pain.
  5. Interpret current legislation and process surrounding medical and recreational marijuana.
