Overview

The 47th Annual Echo Northwestern is a comprehensive conference on valvular heart disease, featuring expert-led sessions on the aortic, mitral, tricuspid, and pulmonic valves. Through case presentations, lectures, live imaging demonstrations, and panel discussions, attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge diagnostic techniques, congenital and acquired valve pathologies, and emerging therapies.

Objectives
  1. Analyze echocardiographic modalities, such as transthoracic, transesophageal, and 3D echocardiography, to improve diagnostic accuracy and guide procedural planning.
  2. Apply echocardiographic findings to multidisciplinary care approaches, integrating results into treatment strategies and collaborative team discussions for optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Evaluate post-procedural outcomes using echocardiography to assess valve function, procedural success, and complications, identifying areas for improvement in care delivery.
  4. Cite current evidence-based guidelines for the use of echocardiography in the diagnosis and management of valvular heart disease to enhance clinical decision-making.
  5. Adapt advanced echocardiographic techniques, such as strain imaging and 3D reconstruction, to tailor individualized treatment plans for patients with complex valvular conditions.

Registration

Physician/Sonographer/Nurses: $75

Fellow/Resident (must register with program email):  $40

Breakfast, lunch, and light snacks during the breaks will be provided during the conference; vegetarian options will be available for all meals.
