Overview
The 2026 program will highlight a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a range of fetal and congenital conditions. Topics will include advances in fetal cardiology imaging and surgical approaches, fetal urologic disorders such as lower urinary tract obstruction and related therapies, and emerging diagnostics and treatments for genetic and neuromuscular conditions including Turner syndrome, spinal muscular atrophy, and skeletal dysplasia. Additional sessions will address congenital tumors, fetal brain development and migration anomalies, and current medical and surgical management strategies for epilepsy related to congenital conditions. The program will conclude with discussions on collaborative care, family support, and strategies to empower families navigating complex fetal and neonatal diagnoses.

Objectives
  1. Analyze recent advancements in the treatment of common fetal conditions amenable to fetal surgery.
  2. Evaluate the current evidence supporting the practice of fetal intervention.
  3. Identify current knowledge gaps that limit broader application of fetal surgery.
  4. Assess innovative approaches currently used in the study and advancement of fetal intervention.
  5. Evaluate indications, outcomes, and emerging directions in congenital heart disease diagnosis and research.
  6. Interpret advances in diagnostic technologies, including fetal imaging and genetic therapies, and their implications for clinical care.
