Overview
This series will consist of four full-day programs and one half-day program. Offering a variety of topics and designed for the primary care provider, this series offers a couple of different formats, either in person or virtually. These programs are created by experts in specialty care who will lecture on many hot topics encountered by the primary care team making education and ease of access a priority. These programs will vary in CME hours (4.25 - 6.50)

Objectives
  1. Diagnose patients with anorexia nervosa restricting type, anorexia nervosa binge purge type, bulimia nervosa and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
  2. Conduct an initial consultation for an eating disorder as well as follow up visit.
  3. Utilize knowledge surrounding the public health impact of food allergy and disparities to better counsel patients with food allergy.
  4. Practice identifying high and moderate-to-low risk infants to provide guideline informed care for the prevention of food allergy.
  5. Explain the role of the pediatric care provider in the diagnosis and management of food allergy.
  6. Practice counseling families on introducing allergenic foods into their infants' diets.
  7. Recognize that pediatric cancer predisposition syndromes are associated with an increased risk of cancers in children.
  8. Discuss how some cancer predisposition syndromes are associated with increased risk of cancer in all age groups and how certain pediatric cancer predisposition syndromes are associated with nononcologic manifestations.
  9. Review normal female puberty and menstrual physiology and define abnormal uterine bleeding.
  10. Discuss differential diagnoses and work up for abnormal uterine bleeding and pharmacological management.
  11. Differentiate the etiologies of chronic cough and recurrent wheeze.
  12. Explain first line management for common etiologies for cough and wheeze
  13. Describe local and national trends in vaccination status and vaccine hesitancy.
  14. Identify several evidence-based strategies for addressing vaccine hesitancy in the clinical setting.
  15. Analyze the prevalence of STIs in Chicagoland area and apply updated guidelines from the CDC regarding STI screening and treatment.
  16. Discuss how to diagnose asthma and identify severe asthma.
  17. Review updated asthma management guidelines.
