Improving the Quality of Digestive Health Care at Northwestern Medicine

A day long CME meeting for all NM-affiliated (employed ad private) GI providers (physicians and APPs) to discuss quality improvement projects occurring throughout the NM system focused on improving the quality of digestive health care. We will also provide hands-on device training for gastrointestinal endoscopy.

1. Utilize recent evidence to improve the inpatient care of patients with acute pancreatitis
2. Use novel endoscopic devices to manage upper gastrointestinal bleeding
3. Identify patients with fatty liver disease who are at risk for progression to cirrhosis
4. Implement the current classification system for patients with esophageal motility disorders
