Overview
The Annual Northwestern Medicine Respiratory and Critical Care Symposium brings together experts in the fields of pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and thoracic surgery to discuss evidence-based updates of high-yield topics in the field. The activity aims to foster continued learning, discussion, and collaboration among a broad community of interprofessional learners.

Objectives
  1. Describe and integrate high impact evidence-based updates in pulmonary medicine into clinical practice
  2. List new strategies for the management of critically ill patients with sepsis and respiratory failure
  3. Describe the current public health implications of respiratory disease
  4. Demonstrate new skills performing critical care procedures and advanced bronchoscopy
  5. Apply new strategies for chest imaging interpretation

Registration

Faculty/Physician - $100

Research Staff - $50

Nurse/APP/Allied Health Professional - $50

Student/Fellow/Resident - FREE

*OPTIONAL Simulation Lab (LIMITED AVAILABILITY) - $50 

*The Simulation Lab will be on Saturday 10/1 from 9am-12pm at 240 East Huron Street, and will include hands on activities in the following: Central Line, Chest Tube, Perc Trach, and ION Robot Bronchoscopy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing to the Office of Continuing Medical Education at [email protected]. The paid registration fee, minus $50, will be refunded if cancellation is received by September 26, 2022. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
