Overview
The purpose of this CME activity is to discuss and educate gastroenterologists and GI surgeons regarding topics in esophageal diseases using high-level didactics, live case demonstrations and small group discussions.

Objectives
  1. Describe the state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic tools for GERD and Barrett's esophagus.
  2. Demonstrate practical innovation in esophageal physiologic testing.
  3. Apply advanced management for eosinophilic esophagitis.
  4. Identify the current status of quality metrics and novel devices for diagnosis and management of Barrett’s esophagus.
  5. Explain the role of Per-Oral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) as a minimally invasive procedure for achalasia.
  6. Recognize blown out myotomy (BOM) as a cause for recurrent symptoms in patients with achalasia following POEM or Heller myotomy.

Registration

The fee is $25 for attending physicians and $15 for trainees, APPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Breakfast, refreshments, lunch and an offsite dinner are provided. Space is limited. No refunds will be issued after Friday, September 30.
