Overview
This leadership development program will equip physician leaders with foundational managerial and core leadership skills aligned to Northwestern Medicine’s strategic vision. The blended learning curriculum consists of didactic and interactive learning modules and reinforcement via e-learning and mobile coaching technology. Learning methods include instruction from Northwestern Medicine/healthcare executives, business simulations, team-based action learning, case studies and lunch and learns. Topics include: leadership and self-awareness, foundational managerial skills, communication and collaboration.

Objectives
  1. Identify effective communication techniques and methods?.
  2. Examine leadership styles, personal preferences and "derailers".
  3. Discuss application of leadership skills and behaviors.
