Overview
This course will focus on educating providers about minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic strategies that ultimately may improve patient care. Specifically, we will provide learners with new strategies in endoscopy to evaluate, diagnose, and manage GI malignancies.

Objectives
  1. Describe the state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic tools for GERD and Barrett's esophagus.
  2. Demonstrate practical innovation in esophageal physiologic testing.
  3. Apply advanced management of eosinophilic esophagitis.
  4. Identify the current status of quality metrics and novel devices for CRC Screening and polyp resection.
  5. Explain novel therapies for inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
  6. Review new diagnostic and therapeutic advances in liver disease.
  7. Employ practice relevant innovation and technologic advances in management of pancreaticobiliary disease.

Registration
The registration fees are as follows: attending physicians $225, fellows $75 and nurses $75.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided. Space is limited. No refunds will be granted after September 11.

The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
