A one-day conference designed for healthcare providers interested in learning more about mental health concerns in children. This one day symposium will highlight topics such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, psychosis and screening techniques and challenges as well as prescribing medication and finding the right harmony and balance. 

Objectives
  1. Discuss emerging trends in the treatment of childhood psychiatric disorders in primary care and subspecialty pediatrics.
  2. Briefly assess children and adolescents for the major psychiatric disorders with pharmacological responsiveness.
  3. Identify and monitor stimulants and antidepressants for children and adolescents with mild to moderate ADHD, Anxiety Disorders and Depression.
