The purpose of this meeting is to review various modalities of ophthalmic imaging in the management of challenging ophthalmic conditions. By reviewing new information the ultimate goal is to improve patient care for a variety of medical and surgical ophthalmic conditions. The strength of the meeting lies in the caliber of the speakers and the interactive nature of the program.

Objectives
  1. Identify the role of advanced ophthalmic imaging in the diagnosis and management of a variety of retinal vascular disease processes, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion
  2. Describe the retinal imaging characteristics of various inflammatory disease processes.
  3. Describe the retinal imaging characteristics of various inflammatory disease processes.
  4. Describe the utility of retinal nerve fiber layer, optic disc and macular imaging for the diagnosis and management of glaucoma
  5. Describe the potential role of OCT-Angiography for diagnosing glaucoma and detecting progression.
  6. Describe the role of advanced posterior segment imaging for the diagnosis of non-glaucomatous optic neuropathies.
  7. Describe the role of advanced anterior segment imaging to optimize outcomes in cataract and refractive surgery.
  8. Integrate the skills acquired to provide better ophthalmic and medical care for their patients.
