This course will help providers identify the importance of triaging red flags in the evaluation of spinal conditions. Attendees will learn the benefits of multidisciplinary approaches to managing spine disorders, including invasive and non-invasive treatments. The evolution of spine surgery will be reviewed, as well as surgical treatment options of cervical and lumbar spine disease and spinal deformities. Additionally, this course will help providers to recognize the importance of rehabilitation in the return of spinal function.

Objectives
  1. Examine the importance of triaging red flags in the evaluation of spinal conditions.
  2. Evaluate the benefits of multidisciplinary approaches to managing spine disorders, including invasive and noninvasive treatments.
  3. Review the evolution of spine surgery and examine surgical treatment options of cervical and lumbar spine disease and deformities.
  4. Access the importance of rehabilitation in the return of spinal function.
