Overview
This series will consist of four full-day programs and one half-day program. Offering a variety of topics and designed for the primary care provider, this series offers a couple of different formats, either in person or virtually. These programs are created by experts in specialty care who will lecture on many hot topics encountered by the primary care team making education and ease of access a priority. These programs will vary in CME hours (4.25 - 6.50)

Objectives
  1. Differentiate mechanical from inflammatory joint complaints and perform a basic musculoskeletal exam
  2. Name five diagnoses that can mimic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)
  3. Decide whether imaging and lab studies are indicated when assessing children with MSK complaints and recognize the limitations of laboratory studies in the diagnosis of children with MSK complaints
  4. Review the topic of acute encephalitis presentation and its etiologies
  5. Identify the types of neuronal antibodies
  6. Assess the diagnostic approach and testing and explore the therapeutics and new advances
  7. Describe the effects of toxic stress, ACE’s and social influencers of health on children’s long-term health and wellbeing
  8. Recognize how positive childhood experiences and early relational health can help mitigate these negative outcomes.
  9. Provide examples of ways to promote early relational health in pediatric primary care and in the community.
  10. Review current SARS-CoV-2 activity and prevention recommendations and the frequency and spectrum of Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection
  11. Discuss the evidence of candidate therapies for PASC and the role of vaccination in preventing PASC
  12. Review clinical manifestations of celiac disease and understand who and when to screen
  13. Review celiac disease lab tests and learn which should be used for screening and how to interpret the results
  14. Outline the next steps and recommendations to give families when a patient has a positive celiac disease screening test
  15. Discuss epidemiology and classification criteria in childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE, Lupus) and recognize clinical manifestations of cSLE
  16. Review how ethnicity may influence disease manifestations.
  17. Highlight key pharmacotherapeutic advances in cSLE.
  18. Introduce the idea of potential nutrition gaps needed to be filled within pediatric population
  19. Discuss how specific sport, age, gender plays a role in determining whether specific supplements are necessary and/or safe
  20. Review “popular” supplements that providers may hear about, their relevance and efficacy
