Overview
This educational initiative was developed to bring together leading national and international medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to present, debate, and evaluate cutting-edge technology and approaches in the management of breast cancer.

Objectives
  1. Identify current approaches for evaluation, prevention and treatment of lymphedema.
  2. Describe best practices for breast cancer screening in transgender individuals.
  3. Discuss options for escalation and de-escalation of local and systemic therapy in hormone receptor positive breast cancer.
  4. Cite the current indications for staging the axilla and when axillary staging is not necessary.
  5. Review the current status of AI in breast imaging.
  6. Describe the biologic underpinnings of management strategies in DCIS.
  7. Explain when RT may be omitted after neoadjuvant therapy.

Advance registration is encouraged, as space and materials are limited. The registration fee includes conference tuition, CME credits, digital materials, four breakfasts, refreshment breaks and an evening reception. The Radisson Blu Aqua is conveniently located within walking distance of Millennium Park, the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier. Designed by famed architect Jeanne Gang, this striking hotel places guests in the heart of the city with easy access to Financial District businesses and attractions like "The Bean" and the Chicago Riverwalk.

A limited number of guest rooms have been held for the Symposium at the reduced rate $279 per night prior to September 30, 2024. Reservations are only being accepted for Thursday-Sunday at the reduced rate. Make your reservation online or contact the hotel directly at 312.638.6686. Mention the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium for the reduced rate.

Ground Transportation
Chicago is served by two airports, O'Hare International and Midway International. An Airport Express shuttle runs directly to the Marriott from both airports, and taxis are also available. Arrangements can be made in the Baggage Claim area at either airport or in advance at www.airportexpress.com.

Dining
Breakfast and break refreshments are included for all symposium registrants. Buffet-style lunch is available for an additional fee. The Radisson Blu Aqua features a restaurant and bar as well as in-room dining. Plentiful dining options can also be found in the area near the hotel.
