Overview
This activity is designed to inform pediatricians along with primary care providers with up-to-date information routinely addressed in the pediatric care setting and primary care setting. Lectures will be presented by experts in the field of Allergy & Immunology, Pediatric Rheumatology, Pediatric Neurology, Infectious Diseases AND Pediatric Neurosurgery.

Objectives
  1. Develop new strategies and provide evidence of the benefits of early introduction of allergenic foods.
  2. Recognize and explain the pathognomonic cutaneous findings of Lupus, Juvenile Dermatomyositis, and Systemic Sclerosis in various skin complexions.
  3. Recognize the common phenotypes and associated conditions with Cerebral Palsy.
  4. Explain treatment and prevention options for respiratory viruses in children, including influenza, Covid-19, and other seasonal viruses.
  5. Apply treatment guidelines for pediatric seizures and recognize patients that may benefit from surgical intervention.

Credit Designation Statement

American Board of Pediatrics MOC Part 2 Statement
