Overview
This neurology symposium will provide attendees a comprehensive overview of contemporary clinically relevant content on the care of patients with neurological disorders. A broad range of specialists and sub-specialists will cover topics of substantial interest to clinical team members including neurologists, primary care providers, and nursing team members. Recent advances in the field will be covered and their direct clinical relevance will be highlighted. This symposium will be paired with a multi-disciplinary neurovascular symposium which will follow on the subsequent day.

Objectives
  1. Recognize and apply evidence-based treatments for neurological subspecialties including long COVID and neuroinfectious diseases, headaches, multiple sclerosis, memory disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-oncology, stroke, and oto-neurology.
  2. Recognize and apply the fundamental basis and modalities of neurotherapeutics in neurological subspecialties.
  3. Review current controversies in the care of patients within neurological subspecialties.
  4. Identify indications for use of newer medications and treatment modalities in neurological subspecialties
  5. Examine the use for genetics in neurological subspecialties including movement disorders and epilepsy
