A current events in Anesthesiology conference presented to local anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesia residents/fellows presented by NMG Anesthesiologists.

1. Recognize predictors of difficult airway and develop appropriate airway management strategies and skills.
2. Define best practices to treat anemia 2. preoperatively.
3. Describe different ways to manage right ventricular failure, including adjustment to preload and afterload, fluid status, and options for mechanical circulatory support.
4. Understand perioperative hemodynamic management goals at various time points in patients undergoing acute stroke intervention.
5. Define and understand which changes to intraoperative neuromonitoring signals are of potential clinical significance and merit intervention.
6. Review the morbidity associated with obstetric hemorrhage and potential treatment options (e.g., TXA, fibrinogen concentrate, etc.)
7. Identify and manage patients who present post-delivery with neurological symptoms.
8. Evaluate the recent body of evidence regarding optimal anesthesia for hip fracture surgery.
9. Assemble a plan for the management of buprenorphine for the perioperative period.
10. Review ventilation strategies that are helpful in ensuring adequate gas exchange and minimizing ventilator-associated lung injury.
11. Discuss common ethical dilemmas in the surgical ICU and perioperative setting.
12. Discuss the current state of ERAS for pediatric surgery, and why pediatric uptake has lagged.

Cancellations/Refunds
