2023 Annual Spring Symposium McHenry, Woodstock, Huntley Hospitals: IL Mandated Course

This is a hybrid activity with in-person and virtual attendance options. This conference will address the Illinois re-licensure requirements for physicians. The topics will include Implicit Bias, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Safe Opioid Prescribing and Recognizing Dementia.

1. Apply safe opioid prescribing practices.
2. Describe appropriate Dementia screening, treatment options, and available memory resources
3. Examine the continuum of sexual exploitation, examples of sexual misconduct, the power dynamics that exist, and the steps to take if faced with a sexual harassment situation
4. Develop strategies to correct personal unconscious biases in daily interactions.

This is a hybrid meeting, with in-person and virtual attendance options. Registration is complimentary. Early in-person registration is encouraged as space is limited.
