These brief, one hour lectures for the hospital-based pediatricians at NLFH, are developed and executed based on their specific requests and tailored to meet their day-to-day practice offering updates on detection and diagnosis, management and recommendations for treatment.

  1. Identify when to refer to endocrinology if there are concerns about short stature
  2. Discuss the differential diagnosis of short stature
  3. Initiate the workup for a child with short stature
  4. Explain how homeopathy is different from Herbs or supplements
  5. Identify what makes homeopathic medicines a relatively safe treatment
  6. Discuss how homeopathy may be used in common medical conditions
  7. Describe the latest outpatient management options for pediatric asthma
  8. Identify and discuss the latest protocol/guidelines for changing outpatient asthma management
